In this talk we will discuss my recent progress on a class of degenerate Monge-Ampere equations in a nef class on compact Hermitian manifolds. The method combines with a series work of Darvas-DiNezza-Lu. Secondly, we will talk about the finite energy range of Hessian equations on compact Kahler manifold. The proof is different from Darvas-DiNezza-Lu's. Partially based on joint work with Yinji Li and Xiangyu Zhou.
