In this talk, we will present a vanishing result of the foliation de Rham cohomology of a generic contact form, called a nonprojectible contact form. This set forms a residual subset of the set of contact forms. This is a key ingredient towards the proof of a conjecture in contact topology that there is no strict contactomorphism other than the Reeb flows for a generic contact form.
