In this report, we present a method for directly constructing Birkhoff sections on energy surfaces of integrable Hamiltonian systems and provide the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of different types of boundary orbits. This method can be applied to boundaries of toric domains and energy surfaces of separable Hamiltonian systems, obtaining conditions for the existence or non-existence of different types of Birkhoff section.
