In this talk, we will explain that any reducible (CSC-1 conformal conical) metric on a compact Riemann surface can be divided into a finite number of pieces by cutting along some geodesics such that each piece is isometric to a football. As an application, we give a new proof of the angle constraint for such metrics. Moreover, we will talk about the on-going work about limit of a family of reducible metrics defined by a meromorphic one-form. This work is joint with Yingyi Wu and Bin Xu.
