Title: Parabolic bundles and spherical metrics
Abstract: I will use the Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence for parabolic bundles to derive results of Troyanov and Luo-Tian on existence and uniqueness of spherical metrics on the Riemann sphere with cone angles less than 2π. This is joint work with Dmitri Panov.
