A classical result in conformal geometry infer that on closed manifold with non-positive Yamabe invariant, smooth metric achieving the invariant must be Einstein. In this talk, we will discuss the extension of the result to metrics with high co-dimension singularity. This is a joint work with L.-F. Tam.
